LYNN PASQUERELLA has been appointed president of the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), effective July 1. She is president of Mount Holyoke College. Pasquerella earned a bachelor’s from Mount Holyoke College and a doctorate from Brown University.

VIVIAN-LEE NYITRAY has been appointed associate vice provost and executive director of the education abroad programs for the University of California system. She is founding dean of Prospect Colleges in Chongqing and Taigu, China. Nyitray earned a bachelor’s from Syracuse University, and a master’s and adoctorate from Stanford University.
